陶喆 (David Tao) will be coming to Singapore for Huayi 2020

With seven albums to his name, this six-time Golden Melody Award-winning singer’s name is synonymous with Mandopop of the 21st century. He is the godfather of Mandarin R&B, David Tao. Since his debut in 1997, the multi-talented singer-songwriter has made waves with his signature style of R&B tunes crossed with rock beats, rejuvenating the Mandarin music scene with songs such as Airport 10.30, Blue Moon, Close to You and Black Tangerine. Regarded as one of the most versatile and creative artists in the Mandopop scene, Tao returns to Singapore with a brand-new showcase that is unlike any before. Going back to the basics with renowned music director Goh Kheng Long and backed by a band of established musicians, hear Tao at his best in the full harmonic splendour of the Esplanade Concert Hall as he presents an immersive performance exemplifying his musicality and vocal prowess. Feel the Tao of music as he delivers a one-of-a-kind intimate sound experience featuring his best hits.
