Make Joint Efforts to Prevent Cross-border Spread of COVID-19

At present, a new wave of COVID-19 pandemic is still raging around the world. Due to the imported COVID-19 cases, China is facing the serious situation as the pandemic recurred in some parts of the country. Meanwhile, the imported COVID-19 cases has resulted in a massive suspension of flights between China and Singapore, which has adversely affected the people-to-people exchange between our two countries. To minimize the imported COVID-19 cases arrived in China, the Embassy has released a series of pre-departure requirements accordingly. It is the responsibility of all passengers to China to follow the relevant pre-departure requirement to avoid being tested positive upon arrival in China. As the virus continues to mutate, self-isolation and pre-departure tests are still the most effective ways to prevent the spread of COVID-19 across borders. In this regard, the Embassy urges passengers shall ensure proper self-isolation as required by the Embassy, take the required pre-departure tests and avoid cross-infection at the airport or onboard by taking proper personal protection during the journey. Those who have infected with COVID-19 shall truthfully declare their infection history and fulfill the required monitoring procedures before travelling to China. In accordance with the relevant requirements of Chinese government, the Embassy will continue to increase the frequency of random checks and adjust the pre-departure requirements. The Embassy kindly advises passengers to pay attention to the latest policy and greatly appreciates your understanding and cooperation. With joint effort, we can contribute to the health and safety of all passengers, and to ensure the normal operation of flights between China and Singapore. For Enquiry: +65-81296456 (8:30AM-12:00PM, 2:30PM-5:00PM, Mondays-Fridays, except Holidays)
