吴瑞衡，字山而，男，１９３８年２月生，江苏省太仓人。江苏省太仓市璜泾中学高级教师。１９６１年毕业于南京师范大学中文系，１９９４年毕业于中国书画函授大学国画系。。现为中国书画家联谊会会员，中国文化艺术发展促进会会员，中原书画研究院艺术顾问，中国文化艺术城高级书画师，曹州青年书画院名誉院长，南京师范大学语言教学研究中心研究员。专攻山水，兼习诗词，篆刻创作。作品在国内、国际书画大赛中多次获奖并赴美国、日本、新加坡、台湾、香港等地展出。作品及传略被收入《东方书画长城巨卷》、《世界华人书画作品选集》、《中国当代美术家书法家汉英辞典》、《世界华人文学艺术界名人录》等辞书。荣获“世界功勋艺术家”、“世界书画艺术名人”等荣誉称号。现为中国书画家联谊会会员高级书画师。吴瑞衡的《溪山秋瀑》图颇具神韵，意境清新，明显具有文人画的特征，而吴瑞衡本人，也的确是个名副其实的文人。
吴先生１９６１年毕业于南京师范大学中文系，在校学的是狭义的文，即中国文学和语言。毕业后到中学执教，教的是语文，仍然没有脱离狭义的文。他是一个肯钻研、有成就的高级教师，教学之余，参与编著了《高中古文注释解说》《文言文读练指导》和《高中语文单元复习指导》等书；他还是一位文学才华出众的文士，发表过诗歌、散文、特写，被社会承认为诗人。他年届半百时还认真学习中国水墨画，由于文学功底深厚，还具绘画天赋，因而能够很快地掌握基本技巧，并迅速进入创作阶段。所绘水墨山水，以清新淡雅取胜，常常参展，获得奖励，多幅作品被辑入综合画册。

His works have won many awards in domestic and international calligraphy and painting competitions and have been exhibited in the United States, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong . His works and biographies have been included in such dictionaries as “the Great Wall of Chinese painting and Calligraphy” , “selected works of Chinese painting and calligraphy from around the world” , “chinese-english Dictionary of contemporary Chinese calligraphers” and “who’s who in the world of Chinese literature and Art” He was awarded the honorary titles of World Meritorious Artist and world famous figure of calligraphy and painting . He is now a senior calligrapher and painter of the Chinese calligraphers and painters association . 吴先生自１９９０年以来多次参加国际、国内书画大赛，获奖达５０次以上。作品多次入展国内、国际书画大展，作品被选送日本、美国、韩国、新加坡等地参展。其作品与艺历编入《２０世纪中华画苑掇英大画册》《东方书画长城巨卷》《中国书画家作品精选》《世界华人书画作品选集》《当代中国书画名人图录》《中国美术选集》《中国中学骨干教师辞典》《中国高级专业技术人才辞典》《世界名人录》等辞书。１９８３年获市教育先进工作者；１９９３年获“中外书画鉴赏家”、“世界铜奖艺术家”、“世界银奖艺术家”、“世界书画艺术名人”等荣誉称号。多次获国际国内书画大赛金奖、银奖、铜奖、一等奖、二等奖、三等奖、精品奖、佳作奖、优秀奖等奖项。
