此山东省造光绪元宝每元当制钱十文钱币一枚，直径约为2.8cm，重量约为7.28g，为机制银币，其冲压标准，深峻清晰，地章平滑，字口挺拔，品相精致，符合当时的铸币风格。藏品正面铸有铭文，顶部铸楷体“山东省造”四字，底部铸货币价值：“每元当制钱十文”，中心直读“光绪元宝”四字，币中心为满文“光绪元宝”，外圈两侧各有一朵花纹装饰。银币背面中央镌蟠龙图，纹理细腻，犹如刀刻，铸造工艺神乎其技，且龙身纹路精美，并有云海衬托，仿若神龙翱翔天际，极其壮阔，动人心魄，外圈顶部则是铸有英文“山东省”，下面为英文币值“十文”。
