Q: What is the most important qualification for the financial programs?

A: No most important qualification but you need to be comfortable with mathematics.

Q: Can students from Engineering or Mathematics backgrounds apply for the financial programs?

A: Students from Engineering and Mathematics backgrounds (such as CS, EIE, Statistics and Maths etc.) are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Q:What is the minimum GPA requirement?

A: Prof. Benedict KOH said there is no minimum requirement for GPA, when they screen the applications, they focus on the overall background of the applicant, including GPA, career aspiration, GRE/GMAT, internship/research experience and interview performance. They always ask ‘how will the school help you’ in the interview. 

Q: What are the career prospects for students? Is it easy to get a job in Singapore after graduation?

A: Singapore is an open market, the competition in the job market is very strong, graduates will face competition from all around the world. Prof. Benedict KOH believes that Singapore is a good place to study, Shanghai and Beijing are better places to start your career.
